GDP per capita world countries 2017 (table)
The International Monetary Fund has published the GDP per capita table of the world's 2017. GDP per capita is the entire GDP produced by the country divided by the number of inhabitants - in fact, the production efficiency of this GDP.

GDP per capita determines the level of economic development of the state. All indicators for comparability are expressed in a single currency (US dollar). Recalculations from national currencies to dollars are carried out at market exchange rates.

It should be noted that Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is a macroeconomic indicator reflecting the market value of all final goods and services (that is, intended for direct consumption) produced in a year in all sectors of the economy on the territory of the state for consumption, export and accumulation, regardless of the nationality of the factors of production used. This concept was first proposed in 1934 by Simon Kuznets.

GDP (PPP) - GDP per capita, which is based on purchasing power parity (PPP), the essence of which is the calculation of two or more monetary units, the currencies of different countries exchanged at the rate in the territory of one state in terms of their purchasing power in relation to one group of goods or services. At the same time, the subtlety of this recalculation lies in the fact that it is carried out not at the international exchange rate, but just at purchasing power parity.

This is probably the most accurate and reliable indicator of the standard of living of the population, since it has the most accurate characteristics that more accurately describe the standard of living of the population.

Russia over the past year rose to 1 position - to 72 seats, slightly ahead of Suriname. For each Russian, he had $ 8,660 of GDP. The first three with the most efficient economy remained unchanged - Luxembourg, Switzerland, Norway.
